BACKGROUND


RESA is the official training, assimilation and security
screening corporation for our sister corporation in 0.0 space.


This means that for many of our members, membership is
probationary only.


RESA is only a temporary corp on the way to bigger
and better things.


YOUR DESTINATION IS 0.0!



CORPORATION PROFILE


We are NOT a Democratic Corporation, infact you could go as far as to say we are
quite Militaristic in our approach. whilst we listen to our members and address their concerns, it is
Leadership that decides on all issues and they will not shy away from enforcing these decisions with
full conviction in order to protect the corporation and it's members.

Bearing in mind that our primary goal is to prepare people for the rigors of life in 0.0 space, this
approach is hardly surprising.


In order to survive in 0.0 you need to be disciplined
and in touch with what it means to be a true Team player!


As such, if you prefer to play solo and are a bit of a lone wolf, you may find that RESA is not for you.

Once our members have accepted how RESA operates they begin to realise the rewards that true camaraderie can bring:

- strong friendships, trust, wealth and excitement are all to be found at the end of your probationary period in RESA.



WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO TO REALISE THESE REWARDS ?


1. DISCIPLINE


All members are expected to follow orders, obey commands and respect the rules. Without this the system will crumble and members will suffer. This point is not up for discussion.



2. IN-GAME GROUP COMMUNICATION


Use Team speak every time you log in.

If you don't have it, download it (it's free!).

Use of Teamspeak is monitored and interviews will be conducted for members not using it.

Believe me, by the time you reach 0.0 you will thank us for enforcing this policy.



3. ORGANISATION


We are a very organized and structured corporation and we have departments specifically set up to organise events, monitor our members activity and participation, manage security, look after our members well being, and so on.

To achieve this as efficiently as possible we use in game and out of game tools which allow our staff to gather information and process it without having to be online at the same time as everyone else in the corp!

The types of things you are expected to respond to are:



- Weekly Activity Evemails


A simple mechanism that requires a reply email merely saying 'Active', to the Activity department member of staff who contacted you.



- Forum templates


These gather information specific to the task in hand, just copy and past the template and fill in your information.

Both of these take minutes, if not seconds, to complete and allow our staff to assess our membership status quickly so that they can concentrate on projects that will more benefit our members, rather than on chasing members who can't be bothered to respond.

Your co-operation in these matters is appreciated.



4. SUPPORT THE CORP


- Mining


Every 10 days or so (Not in War Time) the Corp runs a corp benefit mining op. ALL proceeds from these Operations go to the corp and are used to provide members with ships and equipment at well below Market rate and also to contribute towards special projects in 0.0 space.

If you are online when one of these operations is in progress you will be expected to take part. If you are not a miner then Haul, at the end of the day the returns you will get from the corp will far outweigh the time investment you make once every ten days.


- Ratting/Missions


ALL Loot collected during missions or ratting that you do not wish to use for yourself should be dropped into a recycled Hanger at the corp offices. Leadership will then either move items into a global access hanger for use by all our members or convert them into ammunition - again for all to use.

Occasionally you may pick up so called 'Uber loot', obviously you will not be expected to just recycle this equipment if you don't use it. However, in the spirit of good will it is required that you offer this type of equipment to other corp members at 10% discount before putting it up for sale on the market.



5. WARS and PvP


We are a training corp, hence we try not to engage in wars or active PvP unless forced to do so.

The benefits to our members of being able to train and prosper during peace time before transferring to 0.0 cannot be stressed enough.

We therefore ask that you do not do anything that could spark a war (ore theft, pirating, attacking others without provocation).


NOTE: IN THE RARE EVENT THAT WE FIND OURSELVES AT WAR, CERTAIN EMERGENCY POLICIES REGARDING NEW MEMBER ACCESS TO CORP FACILITIES MAY BE PUT IN PLACE.

IF YOU ARE JOINING RESA DURING WAR TIME PLEASE DISCUSS YOUR OPTIONS WITH YOUR CONTACT FROM OUR PUBLIC RELATIONS AND RECRUITMENT DEPARTMENT.


Any Non-War PVP that we do engage in is strictly organised and conducted in a group setting or in a single designated system. Please remember that You will have plenty of opportunities for PvP in our sister corp in 0.0.


PIRATING, THEFT, TREASON OR OTHER UNDERHANDED TACTICS WILL RESULT IN EXPULSION FROM CORP AND/OR PODDING



6. ACTIVITY



We prefer individuals who are relatively active. We do not require that you are online 24/7, but you should be aim to attend at least 1 or 2 group activities a week and respond to the weekly activity check via EVE mail.

We are always focused on working with others. Demonstrating your willingness to support this corp ethic through participation is crucial for your graduation to 0.0

1. Apply in our Website forum for membership by posting a pre-determined Template containing your Character information (instructions are in the forum)

3. On Approval of your forum application, apply in game

4. Your in game application will be processed and you wil receive instructions relevant to your RESA membership.
